On-Site Survey

GPS Source will appear on-site and assess the following:

-  Best method for accessing roof or structure

-  Point of entry for coaxial cables and routing of cables both inside and outside of building

-  Location of antenna to be mounted on roof or structure and type of mounting to be used

-  Assessment of need for lightning protector - if protector is required, determine how it will be grounded

-  Identify best location for emitters inside of building
    ~Assess power considerations (source) for emitters and routing of their wiring

-  Assess system power considerations
   ~Mounting of solar panels, where panels should be located and routing of wiring for solar panels
   ~Location of battery regulator
   ~Where battery regulator should be located and routing of wiring

GPS Source will then submit a formal write-up that clearly explains the assessment.  This will include a layout drawing of the facility and detailed instructions as to where points of entry should occur, how cabling should be configured, where emitters and antennas should be positioned.  It will also include any and all pertinent information regarding items needed for the installation, concerns GPS Source may have and suggestions on planning an efficient install.
