GPS Source, Inc is an industry leader in the design, integration, manufacturing, and delivery of military grade, ruggedized electronic hardware.  Our core competencies include RF signal distribution equipment and turnkey solutions, RF network systems, electronics manufacturing, program management, and systems engineering.  We maintain an R&D team with expertise in signal processing, wireless networks and miniaturized electronics that support/integrate with mission specific hardware. Successful projects have included all phases of development and delivery, including electrical system design, detailed design, system testing, and proof-of-concept demonstrations through full rate production.  GPS Source is an approved vendor in the Boeing Company’s supplier database.

GPS Source has extensive experience in development and manufacture of products for military applications:  aircraft, ground vehicles, and missile systems, with existing products combat-proven.  For example, in late 2010, the GPS Source’s family of GPS retransmission kits received a base Air Worthiness Approval from the Army Evaluation Directorate (AED) for use on MH-47 and MH-60 aircraft. In 2010, GPS Source completed full airworthiness certification and program milestones for a permanently integrated GPS system in the C-17 Globemaster III to support high altitude airdrop requirements in partnership with Boeing IDS and the US Air Force.   For excellence in exceeding customer expectations, GPS Source received Supplier Recognition from Boeing IDS as a result of the project.  

GPS Source's project teams are comprised of key personnel and support staff that are motivated experts, focused on delivering dependable solutions that meet requirements. The core competency of GPS Source includes product development, product management, systems engineering, rapid prototyping, system verification and validation, and full-scale production of miniaturized electronic products and systems. Their senior RF and GPS engineers routinely design compact, application specific circuits and custom RF (including GPS) products to military quality specifications for their unique applications. GPS Source leverages commercial development and manufacturing techniques that improve costs and expedite development of appropriate solutions.

The GPS Source Quality Management System is certified to both the AS9100 (Rev B) and ISO 9001:2008 standards to OASIS (database) Identification Number 6126677285. GPS Source holds AS9100 (Rev B) & ISO 9001:2008 certificates (ID: A0002174-1). First Article Inspection (FAI) procedures and processes on the shop floor are in compliance with AS9102 requirements. Additionally, configuration management procedures/processes are in compliance with ISO 10007 standards. GPS Source strives for continuous improvement, as part of our AS9100 and ISO9001 certifications implementing Advanced Quality Planning DFx, Process Capability Analysis, and customer surveys in all aspects of our business processes. Government and customer surveillance source inspection activities are supported with office space reserved and IT resources available on-site.

GPS Source competencies include full turnkey Contract Electronics Manufacturing product assembly and test capabilities, compliant with J-STD-001 Class I, II, or III, including the 001D space addendum. The shop floor and lab are compliant with ESD Control Program requirements defined within the ANSI/ESD S20.20-2007, MIL-HDBK-263B, and MIL-STD-1686 standards. Assembly, Inspection, Test, and Engineering personnel are IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified.  Founded in 1999, GPS Source, Inc. is located in Pueblo, Colorado.
